Ingredients

  • 12 Hawaiian Dinner Rolls
  • 12 breakfast sausage patties
  • 10 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 8 whole eggs
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted and divided
  • 2 teaspoons Everything Bagel Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Heat a large skillet to medium and add in your sausage patties.
  • Fry until they are cooked through, then remove and set them aside. Do not overcook them, as they will continue cooking in the oven.
  • In a large mixing bowl, add in the eggs, heavy cream, salt and pepper.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Whisk until well combined.
  • Wipe out the pan, then add in 1 tablespoon of the butter and pour in the egg mixture. Gently scramble the eggs, then set them aside while you prepare the rolls.
  • Take a serrated bread knife and slice the rolls in half, still keeping them attached to each other.
  • Place them bottom rolls in a 9 x 13 casserole baking dish that’s been sprayed with nonstick spray.
  • Place half the cheddar cheese slices on the bottom rolls, without overlapping and cut them if you need to.
  • Add the scrambled eggs over the cheese slices. Next, add the sausage patties over the eggs, one over each roll. Top with the remaining sliced cheddar cheese.
  • Add the top rolls over the cheese, then brush with the remaining melted butter and sprinkle the Everything Bagel Seasoning over the tops.
  • Bake for 15-17 minutes or until the tops are golden.
