Frozen Banana Pops

These Frozen Banana Pops are a delicious treat that combines the creamy sweetness of frozen bananas, with a rich chocolate coating and crunchy walnuts.

  • Slice each banana in half width-wise.
  • Insert a popsicle stick into the cut side, about⅓ of the way in.
  • Place the bananas on a tray lined with parchment paper, then freeze 2-3 hours or until completely frozen.
  • Add the chocolate chips (I used sugar-free to cut back on the sugars) and coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl.
  • Melt in the microwave in 30 second increments, stirring in between. Mine took just 1 minute total.
  • Dip half the banana into the chocolate, swirling it around to cover all sides of the top.
  • Quickly (and I mean very quickly), sprinkle the chopped walnuts all over the chocolate. If you wait even seconds too long, the chocolate will have hardened and the nuts won’t adhere.
  • Once the chocolate and nuts have set, they are ready to enjoy!
