Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread

This recipe for Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread brings together warm, buttery bread with a blend of gooey mozzarella and parmesan. Perfectly seasoned with garlic and fresh parsley, it only takes minutes to prepare.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 loaf French bread, or Italian
  • 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, grated
  • 2 teaspoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Slice your loaf in half, down the center and place it on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, cut side up.
  • In a small mixing bowl, add in the softened butter, half the grated parmesan cheese, grated garlic, chopped parsley, salt and pepper.
  • Mix together until well combined.
  • Spread half the mixture over each half loaf, then cover with more aluminum foil. Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and add the remaining parmesan cheese and shredded mozzarella.
  • Bake for 10 more minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
