Baked Brie and Prosciutto Crostini

This Baked Brie and Prosciutto Crostini is adorned with sweet apple butter, creamy melted brie, and delicate ribbons of savory prosciutto.

Ingredients
 

  • 1 French baguette
  • 6 ounces prosciutto, sliced thin
  • 8 ounces brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 cup Apple Butter
  • Sprigs of fresh lemon thyme, or thyme

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Slice your baguette into thin slices, between ¼-1/2 inch thick.
  • Spread some of the apple butter over the tops of each slice.
  • Add a slice of the Brie cheese over the apple butter.
  • Place them on a nonstick baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the bread is toasted.
  • Remove from the oven, then add a ribbon of prosciutto on top. Garnish with a small sprig of thyme and serve while still warm.
