🔪 How to Make Glazed Pork Tenderloin
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Add the chicken broth, liquid aminos, sugar-free honey, rice wine vinegar and garlic into a small mixing bowl. Whisk to combine, then set it aside.
Add the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, rosemary, salt and ground black pepper into a small bowl.
Whisk to combine.
Then sprinkle the spice mix on all sides of your pork. Heat a large oven-safe skillet to medium and add in the olive oil and tenderloins.
Sear the pork on all sides, then pour the sauce mixture over the tops, toss to coat the pork.
Place the skillet into your preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F, when checked with a meat thermometer.
Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes on a cutting board.
Place the pan back on the stovetop and simmer on medium. Whisk the xanthan gum in and continue to simmer until thickened to your liking. Slice into medallions and drizzle the remaining pan sauce over the top and serve.
💡 Tips
- Pat the pork dry before seasoning to help the spices stick and create a good sear.
- Use a large oven-safe skillet to go from stovetop to oven without needing extra dishes.
- Sear the pork on all sides for flavor and to lock in juices before baking.
- Make sure to rest the pork for at least 10 minutes before slicing to keep it juicy.
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness, the pork is ready at 140°F and will rise to 145°F as it rests.
- Simmer the glaze until it’s thick enough to coat the back of a spoon before drizzling it over the pork.
- Slice into even medallions so everything cooks and serves evenly.
☑️ Storage Instructions
- Fridge: You can store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Freezer: Freeze sliced pork and glaze in a freezer-safe bag for up to 2 months. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.

🔄 Substitutions and Additions
- Spicy: Add crushed red pepper flakes or a splash of hot sauce to the glaze for a little kick.
- Herbs: Swap rosemary for thyme or sage for a different flavor.
- Honey: Instead of honey, you can use a little maple syrup for an earthy twist.
- Vinegar: Try apple cider vinegar or balsamic in place of rice wine vinegar for a slightly different glaze.
- Grill it: Instead of baking, sear and finish the pork on the grill for smoky flavor.
- Veggie add-in: Add green beans or asparagus to the pan during the last few minutes of baking for a built-in side.
Can This Be Made in the Slow Cooker?
Yes, sear the pork first, then add everything to the slow cooker and cook on low for 3–4 hours until tender.
Why is My Glaze Too Thin?
It may need more simmering time. Let it cook until thickened, and whisk in extra thickener if needed.
Can I Use Pork Loin Instead of Tenderloin?
Pork loin works but takes longer to cook. Adjust the bake time and use a meat thermometer to check doneness.
Why Did My Pork Turn Out Dry?
Overcooking is usually the cause. Always use a meat thermometer and let the pork rest before slicing.
Does The Glaze Taste Very Sweet?
No, the glaze is balanced by garlic, vinegar, and spices, giving it a savory-sweet flavor that isn’t overpowering.
